When were not traveling, we still kept busy in Korea. We both kept involved in the local theater group on base since our arrival. Gary was the head technician providing lights, sound, and special effects to our performances. Karin had the opportunity to add to her acting resume with such characters as the wicked witch from "The Wizard of Oz," Abby Brewster from "Arsenic and Old Lace," and even an Elvis impersonator from "Radio TBS" (Trailer Park Broadcasting Scandals). After three years here we were ready to go but, we will miss the great friends we've made... and the shopping.

"Korea's Island Paradise" known as Cheju-do. It is located off of the southern tip of the peninsula and provides much needed natural beauty year round (especially for those of us who live in the big city of Seoul). We visited beautiful parks, temples, and waterfalls. The trip was literally and figuratively, "a breath of fresh air!"
