Utah '07

Christmas this year was spent in Park City, Utah with our long time friends, Mark & Terri Simms. Since they now live in Maui, Hawaii & we live in Okinawa, Japan, we have all missed snow & the fun that can be had in it. We spent one week at our timeshare at The Miner's Club in The Canyons and one week at another timeshare downtown. We skied almost every day, including Christmas and New year's days. Since it was early in the ski season, many of the slopes had thin snow cover. Nature did her best to improve that situation for us while we were there. We had several days of snow showers that added numerous inches of fresh powder to the trails. On our first and last days, temperatures were in the 30's. Every day in between ranged only from 9° to 15°F. BBRRRRR!!! We skied The Canyons, Deer Valley, Park City Resort and Alta. On our last day in town, we tried cross-country skiing & snow tubing. We left exhausted, but happy. It sure was nice having a truly "White Christmas" for a change. We hope you enjoy the pictures below as we share some of our adventures with you.
